The problem we started from
An ID photo is refused for reasons nobody told you about. A head three millimetres too high. A background one shade too grey. A frame that was fine for a passport and is wrong for a visa.
You only find out at the counter, after queuing. And the requirements are scattered across administrative pages that contradict each other, when they exist at all.
What we built
A single engine that reads your photo, finds the face, straightens a tilted head, corrects the exposure, replaces the background and reframes everything to the exact format of the document you selected.
Behind it, a catalogue of 277 documents across 103 countries. Not a single generic size: each format carries its own head-height rule, taken from the issuing authority whenever one publishes it. A US passport demands a head between 49 and 69 % of the picture height; the ICAO standard demands 70 to 80 %. Applying the second to the first produces a photo that is refused on sight.
That catalogue is re-checked against its source every month, automatically. It has already caught a real change: a visa format that had moved from 43 × 55 to 40 × 60 mm.
What we refuse to do
We refuse to promise you an acceptance. No one can, and anyone who does is selling you certainty they do not have.
We refuse to hide behind a column of green ticks. The result screen lists what we measured, and immediately below, what we did not: your gaze, your expression, your glasses, the angle the photo was taken from. We once built a low-angle check, measured it, found it discriminated nothing, and removed it rather than let it reassure you for free.
We refuse to make you pay to find out. The preview and every check are free. You pay only if you want the print-ready file.
What happens to your photo
It is deleted automatically: 24 hours if you do not pay, 7 days after payment. The deletion runs every hour on its own — it is not a promise someone remembers to keep.
